A minister waited in line to have his car filled with gas just before a long holiday weekend. The attendant worked quickly, but there were many cars ahead of him in front of the service station. Finally, the attendant motioned him toward a vacant pump. “Preacher,” said the young man, “sorry about the delay. It seems as if everyone waits until the last minute to get ready for a long trip.” The minister chuckled, “I know what you mean. It’s the same in my business.”
Friends, remember these words of Paul, “We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. or He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Cor. 6:1-2). Life is short and unpredictable, and none of us are guaranteed another breath of life. Do not wait until the last minute to become a Christian. Do not wait to the last minute to be faithful – for that minute may not be available.
Think About It!
Have A Great Day!
