STRANGE CHOICE

Here is a strange choice:

“But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews? They cried out therefore again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber”(Jn. 18: 39-40). Isn’t strange that they would choose a contemptible breaker of peace to be released – who made their lives perilous and insecure, and rejected the Lord of life?

No stranger, I guess, than when many choose the broad way to destruction as opposed to the narrow that leads to life eternal (Mt. 7:13-14). What kind of choices are you making in life?
