If you are seeking a wife – Is one wife as good as another?
If you are in need of a doctor – Is one doctor as good as another?
If you are catching a plane – Is one plane as good as another?
If you need a builder – Is on builder as good as another?
Jesus said, “I will build my church” (Mt, 16:18). This is a singular statement – Jesus built only one church and He is the savior of only one church. There is only one church (compare Eph. 4:4 with Eph. 1:22-23). This church is described in the New Testament, thus we must search the scriptures to see how the Lord’s church is to be organized, how one is to worship, and the entrance requirements for entering therein.
Friends, if you are seeking the Lord’s church no man-made church on earth will satisfy.
Carefully and honestly compare the church where you attend to the New Testament – Is it the church that Jesus built? Is it the church described in Holy Writ? Remember, Jesus built only one church.
