AND THEN SOME

AND THEN SOME

James Byrnes, who was Secretary of State under FDR, said that the difference between successful people and average people can be summed up in three words. Here are the three words, “and then some.” He said, “Average people do what is expected. Successful people do what is expected, and then some.”

Friends, this is the key to spiritual success: “and then some.” Sadly, many seem to do just enough to get by. We should heed carefully the words of the apostle Paul, “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not vain in the Lord” (1 Cor. 15:58).

Let’s give unto the Lord – and then some!

Think About It!

Have A Great Day!
