I heard of a real estate agent who sold a house. At the time of the sale there was no wiring in the house and no light fixtures. The buyer had the real estate agent write into the contract the stipulation that there would be a drop light in every room. After the contract was thus written and signed, the seller of the house took a piece of wire, placed a receptacle and bulb at the end of each wire and nailed it to the center of the ceiling in every room. But the house was never wired. You see, the man kept the letter of the agreement. He fulfilled exactly what the contract called for. But he was a dastardly cheat in the process.
How many times in your life and mine to we speak the truth and sell the truth, all in one and the same day? Friends, “Buy the truth, and sell it not; Yea, wisdom, and instruction, and understanding” (Pro. 23:23).
Think About It!
Have A Great Day!
