Think about the word “amusement” for a moment. Do you know what the word really means? The word “muse” means to think. When you put an “a” in front of a word it means the opposite. “Amuse” literally means, “not to think.” An amusement is something you can do without thinking. Give that some thought!
We need to be very careful what we are exposing our minds to while we are being “amused,” because the tendency is to not think about it.
Paul said, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Phil. 4:8).
Think About It!
Have A Great Day!
