PERSISTENT PREACHING

“From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, even unto this day, these three and twenty years, the word of Jehovah hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising up early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened” (Jer. 25:3).

Jeremiah had warned the people countless times (for 23 years), but they would not listen to him. He had remarkable tenacity to continue preaching to such a nonresponsive audience. What preacher would remain in a church even two years if no one in his congregation listened to him?

Preachers, learn the lesson well – don’t give up, don’t ever give up. Be a Jeremiah!

About from the Preachers PC

I am currently an instructor at the Texas School of Preaching. I stand for and defend the truth of God's word. All other degrees and diplomas mean very little in comparison.
